Welcome - here, all that you see is a part of my burrow.

It is a safe and cosy space that has existed for a long while, a place in which my imagination has always been able to roam freely. I like to think that each of my drawings is defined with a personality and a purpose as well as imbued with facets of others’ art and lives that I love. A few examples of the latter include Alexandre Dumas' Edmond Dantès, who has an inherent taste for the Orient; Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot, with his near-mania for strategic simplicity; Dagobert Peche’s flair for pastels and patterns; the fruitfully frivolous work of Friedrich Ludwig von Berzeviczy-Pallavicini; the wonders of J.K. Rowling's Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes and, not lastly, the beautiful block-printed work of Brigitte Singh. It also goes without saying that a plethora of animated films, such as Bambi (1942) and Klaus (2019), is on this list.

Collectively these form my idea of a warm, ever-present shelter that I can return to - day in and day out, no matter what - with each moment marked by the soft chinks of my many bells, each a muse, each an idea and each a spur to dream, create and illustrate.
